Acting as a modern-day scavenger of my own refuse and that of others, I repurpose discarded everyday objects in an effort to expose the human traces woven into these materials, to redirect the waste of our consumer culture and to reflect on the precarious narrative that links us to each other, considering our relationship to the world around us through our abandoned materials.

Princeton University, Hudson Yards Hell’s Kitchen Alliance, Equity Gallery, DOT Art, A.I.R Gallery, New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, Fresh Window, Chashama and St Eustache Church (Paris, France) have organized solo exhibitions of her work. Fanny is the recipient of various fellowships, grants and residencies including AIM (Bronx Museum), BRIC Arts | Media, Emergency Grant (Foundation for Contemporary Arts), A.I.R. Fellowship Program, Robert Blackburn Printmaking SIP Fellowship, Yaddo Residency, MacDowell Fellowship, Dieudonné Workspace Residency, NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship (Craft/Sculpture), Puffin Foundation Grant.
