Artist's Website

I am a painter, currently working towards a solo show at the Orlando Museum of Art opening March 14th, 2015. The exhibition title is "See You Now". It will exhibit works made with lead, collage elements as well as paintings and site-specific, large installations. At this current moment, I am breeching into a more painterly vocabulary, traditional and free-standing surfaces.

The theme behind the work is my belief in the natural progression towards an enlightened society based on the tangible changes over the past 120 years. This is the time period where stamps started being used. They portray the mutations of the imagery of rulers and politicians, but also other, more specific contributions: the embrace of females as role models, leaders in social change, people in the field of the arts, and general popular culture.

My work is regularly exhibited in art fairs throughout the U.S. and abroad. During the year 2013-14, I have been involved in the renovation of a high school in the town of Kinderhook, in Colombia county, NY, into a state-of-the-art exhibition space and cultural center. The School, a project by Jack Shainman Gallery, was launched on May 14th, 2014. My role was projects manager, the coordinator between the architect and the City Council, as well as oversaw and supervised the execution.
